Things have not been going so well with the training course in Mozambique. The first course has coincided with two days of rioting, triggered by a sharp hike in bread prices, which has left at least seven dead, 288 injured and millions of dollars of damage. Fortunately our trainees and trainers are all safe and well, and being looked after by the local UNIDO office, but not surprisingly, we had to cancel 1.5 days of the course, which we aim to get back over the next week, and we are keeping a close eye on security implications, and getting our staff out at short notice if neccesary.
